my name's cay and I'm an old soul; my heart is in the seventies and led zeppelin makes me cry.
“The '60s are gone, dope will never be as cheap, sex never as free, and the rock and roll never as great."
“There will never be another decade like the 1970’s. It was an amazing time to be alive. There was so much love to go around."
k so i went to a led zeppelin tribute last night called Led-Hed and they were absolutely amazing omg
forewarning: shitty quality cause i couldn’t get too close
the vocalist was sooo good at emulating rob’s voice especially when it came to the high pitched things and just yeah he captured him so well through the way he stood and he even played with his hair and did the thing with the hands and it was so ugh
the bonzo was a great drummer and he was super heavy like bonzo (but of course will never match up) but dude he was awesome i got to shake his hand and i was a bit speechless and stUPID so i just stood there and nodded and smiled like an idiot and yeah
then the bassist/keyboardist was really awesome ok like he rocked that keyboard man especially for no quarter??? I’ll post the video for that later or something if you guys want cause it was awesome i cant even
OK LETS GET TO THE GUY WHO PLAYED JIMMY NOW
so they started the show with going to cali and ended with no quarter, but the encore was black dog, moby dick and then when the levee breaks
BUT OK JIMMY
HE HAD THE BOW AND EVERYTHING
SAME LES PAUL BUT DIFF COLOR SAME DOUBLENECK SAME HAIR JUST GAH
HE DID THE LEG THING AND THE LITTLE HAND FLICK AND THE THE THING WITH THE BOW DURING DAZED AND CONFUSED AND OH MY GOD
SO AT THE INTERMISSION HE CAME OVER TO MY TABLE AND WE TOOK PICTURES AND I DIED
HE WAS COOL
he was a phenomenal guitar player too like what even he shredded
OKAY MOVING ON SO YEAH IT WAS COOL AND I HAD A GOOD TIME AND THEY WERE AWESOME AND I DEFINITELY 10/10 RECOMMEND THAT ANYONE ON THE US EAST COAST LOOK THESE GUYS UP AND GO TO THEIR GIGS CAUSE THEY’RE FANTASTIC
